Jeff Myers
Mixed Media Artist
Sacramento
Jeff Myers is a national-level artist based in Sacramento, California, who has been exhibiting in galleries since the age of 15. He grew up in a creative environment influenced by his parents’ work building a photographic archive of the West—a project initiated with the help of Ansel Adams.
Throughout a career that includes over 45 solo exhibitions and fifty critical reviews, Myers has explored diverse subject matter and visual strategies. Key bodies of work include:
- The Body Environment Series: Life-size figures interacting with endangered environments.
- The Land Series: A juxtaposition of antiquated farm machinery and miniature, busy public spaces.
- The Undercurrent Project: A series of portraits featuring individuals from the fashion and art worlds, painted on three-dimensional aluminum and completed after his move to New York.
With an established collector base across the United States and Europe, he continues to explore new opportunities for exhibition and creative collaboration.
