WHAT IS THE KINGSLEY ART & ANTIQUE EVALUATION DAY?

Want your treasures evaluated and can’t make it to the Antiques Roadshow? Here’s the next best thing – the Kingsley Art & Antiques Evaluation Day coming to the Crocker Art Museum on Saturday, July 27; 10 am-4:30 pm.

The Kingsley Art Club is joining with Sacramento’s art and antique expert, Brian Witherell of Witherell’s (and seen on Antiques Roadshow) to bring his team of specialists to evaluate up to three of your treasures. It’s easy to do and no lottery to participate is necessary. CALL 916-804-8548 TO REGISTER, CONFIRM TIME SLOT and PAY! That’s it. See you at the Crocker!

BEFORE REGISTERING

 WHAT IS THE COST?

Evaluation Day tickets are $60 for Kingsley and Crocker members and $100 for General Public for up to three (3) items.

WHAT ARE THE EVALUATION CATEGORIES?

  • Fine Art, Silver
  • Jewelry, Luxury Watches, Purses, Numismatic Coins
  • Books, Comic Books
  • Sports Cards, & Memorabilia
  • Native American
  • Furniture & Decorative Arts

WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN EVALUATION DAY?

  • No Stamps
  • No Asian Art
  • No Weapons

Did we mention that NO weapons of any kind may be brought into the Crocker Art Museum?

IS THERE A WAIVER TO SIGN?

Yes indeed! Before entering the Crocker Art Museum you will be asked to sign the following:

“I acknowledge I will be receiving an Oral Opinion of Value intended for
information purposes only. The opinion is not intended for any third-party use.
No written report from the evaluator will be given and it is not permissible to
photograph, video, or create an audio record of the appointment without the written
consent of the person bringing in the articles to be evaluated.”

Your pieces must be with you at all times. You will also sign in and out for each piece brought into the Museum.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR EVALUATION DAY

THREE STEPS TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT

1. CALL TO SECURE SPOT

  • Call the Evaluation Day registration line at 916-804-8548.
  • Leave your name and telephone number after the message. Our registration team will return your call in the order it was received.
  • Answer a few questions including a description of the 1-3 items you are bringing.
  • Choose one of the available time slots between 10 am and 4:15 pm.

2. CONFIRMATION

You will receive an email confirming your participation details the same day.

3.  PAY

To confirm your reservation you must complete the payment for your ticket within two (2) days of receipt of your confirmation email, which will include a link to make your payment.

Your confirmation email will include a Kingsley website link which will provide instructions for payment using your PayPal or a credit/debit card account.
